River Bend is a 11x14 oil on canvas.  It is no particular place, but a composite from memory and feeling of a peaceful spring day.
The painting is the result of a week of painting small 5x7 studies of clouds.  Since the first signs of spring this year I have been so inspired by the colorful sunrises each morning.  The sky has been filled with pinks, oranges, and grays.  I am so pleased with the feeling in this painting and inspired to paint more landscape.  I hope you will like it also.
